New Balance Made in Africa | Art Direction
In April 2022 I created a new passion project called New Balance Made in Africa, which merges my African heritage and love for Nbs sneakers. I take classic New Balance models and reinterpret them with an African design language to both elevate the awareness of African culture and showcase a new side of possibility for the brand.
Everything I design myself and all concepts, including inspiration, marketing promos, etc are handled by me.

Social Media Strategy
Revitalized the content strategy to incorporate more hi-quality brand design and fashion UGC imagery to elevate the visuals across social channels.
Redefined the direction of the account which outlined goals and key performance indicators.
Managed a robust content calendar while working collaboratively cross-functionally.
Content Production
As lead of the creative and content for social, paid efforts, and in collaboration with email, I had the opportunity to create video and still imagery content. I also managed the creation of content as well across multiple teams.

Organized weekly social reports and monthly content reports as well as refined quarterly KPIs.
Concept Brand Collaborations | Art Direction
My 2022 New Year’s resolution was to learn how to design products, so I put myself in the art/creative directer role at some of my favorite brands and imagined unique brand collaborations and the subsequent product around them. Below are a few of my favorite concept collabs and products that I have created. Each piece was designed with a specific logo lockup reflective of the design language of each brand incorporated.

Ahead of the Back-to-School season, I was 1 of 5 photographers selected by Unsplash & Microsoft to help showcase the newest Microsoft Surface.
A few months later I was also selected to creatively direct a shoot featuring POC within the jewelry design space for the launch of a new Windows tablet and laptop.

Social Media Strategy
Developed a completely new social strategy to define the “new normal” direction of the Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok accounts and outlining specific tactics to adopt for success. I also worked with in-house team to further design effective ways to rebuild original content strategy.
Content Management
Partnered cross-functionally with PR, Brand Connections, Brand Strategy, Email, Merchants, & Creative teams to ensure global messaging, campaigns, & content is appropriately promoted in a seamless fashion around high inventory items.
Social Reporting
Managed our partnering agency reporting focus & helped refine tracked KPIs. I also create 2 separate weekly reports on new post-COVID social franchises & overall social presence to present to leadership.
The Creative Exchange
Advertising’s Not Dead
I created in AND in the middle of 2019 as a passion project to explore what makes some of the most creative advertising/marketing campaigns so successful.
To start, I designed my own logo and created a color palette that harkened back to the era of the 60s and 70s muted tones as a metaphor for the importance of looking back in time via the research in each piece.
I research, write, and ensure the content written from any of my collaborators is on par with a high editorial standard on our Medium page.
