DC Shoes
My first major freelance client was DC Shoes, where I served as their 1st Global Social Media Strategist.
I updated the social strategy and managed the accounts for all of the connected brands (DC Skateboarding, DC Snowboarding and the general DC shoes brand) across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
I also created to strategy that helped build the DC Women’s Instagram account, now over 20K.
Social Media Strategy
To help launch the Women’s sub-brand Instagram account, DC Womens, I created a strategy to define the direction of the account which outlined goals, kpis, target audience and a mock content calendar.
Social Listening
One of my favorite moments came from In an episode of the HBO show Ballers the DC shoes brand was mentioned and due to some social listening and timeliness, I created a tweet that garnered the most amount of likes, retweets, comments and overall engagement on twitter the brand had seen from a single post in nearly a year.
